Italian-made Apple-shaped Glass Dish

Our last set like this was probably a local manufacture inspired by the original Italian version by CoVetro, and dating to the 1970s. At any rate, one can't go wrong with an apple shaped fruit bowl and smaller apples to match! Sadly,we have only the larger salad bowl on sale today, but it is an original, carrying the embossed "Italy" on the underside of the stalk. The bowls are fabulously retro, and certainly a little different from what one sees in home stores today. The ice glass finish is super textured on the outside while the inside of our bowl has been finished smooth.
