Small Retro Lamp with Original Shade

Hasn't this lamp cleaned up beautifully? With a good sponge-down, and a new plug and switch, it's looking shiny and lovely! It's so unusual in that the heavy-set ceramic base has been painted white and turquoise (they're often browns and creams), and I love the unusual patterns that adorn the base. The light fitting has been placed upon a handsomely turned piece of wood, and the shade is just the right size, height and colour to finish it all off. I'm almost certain this is the original shade and it's in excellent condition for its years. There are a couple of marks on the shade (please see images) and some wear on the paintwork at the bottom of the base, but they don't detract from a very hip and original little lamp.
