Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM Vase

It's safe to say that I was sold on the shape of the vase alone! It's unusual and attractive, and not surprisingly it was manufactured by Royal Porzellan of Germany, a company that has produced some truly wonderful ceramic pieces over the years. Along with the special silhouette, the vase carries beautifully hand-painted florals on each flat side, and has been finished with marble-look paintwork on the edges. I've been unable to date this one precisely, but my best guess would date this beauty to the 1970s. As with all hand-painted pieces by KPM, the base has been signed by the artist, but I haven't been able to correctly decipher the signature.
